Established in 1982, the National Association of Chimney Sweeps, often known as NACS, was created to raise standards across the chimney sweeping industry and promote safe chimney maintenance throughout the country. Today, the organisation represents more than 700 qualified chimney sweeps who work to strict professional standards and recognised industry guidelines.

Working to Professional Chimney Sweeping Standards
All NACS members are required to follow the official NACS Code of Practice and Code of Conduct. This ensures that every chimney sweeping service is carried out safely, correctly and professionally, while giving homeowners confidence that their chimney, flue and appliance are being properly maintained.
At EW Chimney Services, we work carefully on every chimney sweep, chimney inspection and stove service, taking the time to assess the condition of the chimney and identify any issues that may affect safety or performance.
Once work is complete, customers receive an official NACS Certificate of Chimney Sweeping. This industry recognised certificate confirms that the chimney has been professionally swept and inspected and may also be requested by household insurance providers following chimney maintenance or chimney fires.
